Audrey Bell, an artist and medical illustrator based in Detroit, will discuss her time on-site at Lloyd Library researching local fauna to inform her project Transformative Encounters. An exploration of multispecies interactions in Ohio, and the ways they have been documented through herbaria, botanical illustration, mapmaking and text. She will discuss her research and creative process and talk through the work created in response to the Lloyd's collections.
