The Lloyd Library & Museum is an independent library that’s free and open to the public.  Founded in the late 1800s, the Lloyd Library has remained relevant for more than 140 years.  An internationally renowned repository of historic and contemporary materials spanning the 15th century to the present, it focuses on nature, medicine, botanical art, and the history of science. A vital resource for scholars worldwide and a local hub that brings people together, it is known for its acclaimed exhibitions and sought-after programs on contemporary issues.
